Granny King's Story Sessions
Granny King is a storytelling sensation. She likes to tell her own tales of her childhood in Lanarkshire and her adventures all over the world.
Working with the people of Lanarkshire she wants to encourage sharing, telling and recording our stories so we can enjoy them and pass them on to future generations.
During 2022 Granny King has been out and about in the community and online sharing her stories and meeting new friends.
GRANNY KING'S TEA PARTIES
Kirsty's Traveling Tea Room provided delicious snacks for our series of afternoon teas.
It was fantastic to meet up with locals who could share their memories and stories. We hope this can become more of a regular thing in 2023.
GRANNY KING AT LANARKSHIRE PRIDE
Granny King was invited along to Lanarkshire pride by her talented grandchild Garry King to help spread the message of loving who you are and who you want!
Granny King is already signed up to take part in the next Lanarkshire Pride in 2023!
STORYTELLING SESSIONS

Come along and meet Granny King and hear her stories as well as her interactive songs.
This is a fantastic way to make new friends and learn new skills.
