Honk

June 2026

We are so excited to start work on our production of Honk Jr by Styles and Drewe. The Show will be performed at The Other Kings 9th-11th of June 2026.

KEY DATES -

7th of June - Tech Rehearsal

8th of June - Dress Rehearsal

9th-11th of June - Show Dates.

In the past we have had a number of cast members not turn up for the show on certain nights and let us know days before that they “won’t be taking part” certain nights. This makes it so difficult for the other cast members as the show will involve partner and group work. We would appreciate and expect full commitment to the show week.

Those choosing not to take part in the show will still learn the material and work alongside the cast in class. It will still be full of singing, dance, acting and interactive games to improve confidence, coordination, creativity and communication

Our Senior 1  will rehearse on Tuesdays between 5pm-8pm.

Intermediate students will work on the show material on Wednesdays 6pm-8pm

There will be additional principle rehearsals on Wednesdays at The Other Kings between 5pm and 6pm for Principle characters.

Music - There are cast recordings of Honk on all music streaming platforms but please be aware we are doing the JUNIOR PRODUCTION. This can be found on YouTube and we will also provide the cast with all rehearsal materials.

Audition material is available using this link: https://www.mtishows.co.uk/broadway-junior/audition-central select Honk Jr and the character descriptions and audition material is there to look at and practice.

Auditions will be held on the 11th of January and Thursday the 15th of January. You can book your slot using the links:

The junior classes will perform their own version of The Ugly Duckling on the 10th of June at The Other Kings. We will work on this show during the junior classes.

There are loads of fun characters and musical number in this show and we can’t wait to get started.

Existing and new members are welcome to audition for ay character in the show. The roles of Ugly, The Cat and The Bullfrog can be played by any gender. We are open to performers of all abilities, backgrounds and experience levels. We are committed to being inclusive and accepting at all times.

GOOD LUCK!
